Finally back up and running again

Hi everyone,

Many apologies for those who have been visiting our site the past month or so – Google had marked our site as being infected with malware.
Rest assured – the site is now safe to use once again and Google has given their blessing and restored our status online.

That said, we are in the process of reviewing the site and planning on moving it to a different hosting company.
In the meantime, we’ve been using our new Jux blog – http://www.pilotsofdawn.jux.com

For any news and updates, please visit our new blog. If you want to read up on old news and stuff that we posted before, this official site
is fine to use and browse. We’ll keep you updated on the status of our official site and its future.

Our first out-of-town gig!

Hey everyone! apologies for the quiet calm on pilotsofdawn.com – just so you know, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes working on new songs and gearing up for a couple of amazing shows, the first of which will see us perform our first out-of-town gig in the city of Windsor!

We’ll be performing at The FM Lounge with our good friends in Ravenscode tonight! If you happen to be around the area, please drop in and check out the show! We kick off the evening starting at 10pm, followed by Ravenscode and Sophist. THE SHOW IS FREE!!! so come out, enjoy some rockin’ live music and some cold bevvies!

Tell your friends and family, share the links, etc. We are only days away now from the release of our EP, Flight Recorder – hopefully this will tide you over till then. Enjoy the track!

 

Death, Lies, and Bullets – first single!

Hiya guys and gals – we’re almost a week away before we officially drop our very first CD – Flight Recorder – next Saturday at The Black Shire Pub!
However – if you’ve been visiting the site recently, you’ll notice that we have a “Buy Now” button riddled through the site (especially under The EP section).

If you click on that button – you can purchase our disc RIGHT NOW directly from Indie Pool and they will send you a physical, digipak version of our EP!
For those who would rather obtain a digital copy of the album for your mP3 player, mobile phone, computer, etc – our album will be available on most online music stores
such as iTunes and Amazon – which will be available on June 11th.

In the meantime, as we’re getting closer to the launch date, we’ll be prepping our very first single – Death, Lies, and Bullets – for its online debut early next week.
We’ll be playing the track in its entirety on YouTube, our CBC Radio 3 account, Facebook and here on our official site so stay tuned for details!

Flight Recorder EP – June 11, 2011

 

That’s right folks! – we have finished recording our first CD, Flight Recorder!
An EP of six songs, this collection encompasses a mixture of old songs that have been with us for a long time, songs that show a glimpse of the direction we’re headed, and a sonic snapshot of the musical ambition that drives this band.

We are very excited to share our hard work with all of you! On Saturday, June 11 – at The Black Shire Pub – we will be releasing our EP to the public for purchase. We will have a limited amount of physical copies to sell at the show, so be sure to come out and grab one from us! In case you are unable to make it to the show – you can contact us via email (pilotsofdawn@gmail.com) or find us on facebook (www.facebook.com/pilotsofdawn) and inquire if there are any copies left.

In the event that we run out – the EP will be made available for digital download on online retailers such as Amazon and iTunes.
